Recreation and parks

Regina has more than 100 parks and green spaces open to the public. The parks include areas for sports, public performances, family gatherings and quiet times with nature.

Wascana Centre is one of the largest urban parks in North America. It includes a large man-made lake and a massive bird sanctuary, as well as thousands of acres of lawns, pathways, historic sites, plus sports and education facilities.

The Devonian Trail is a bike and walking path that spans the city, threading its way through some of the most picturesque parts of the community.

Multi-use pathways extend across the city to serve cyclists, walkers, runners, skateboarders, rollerskaters/bladders and cross-country skiers. Find information at: multi-use pathways.

Enjoy year-round sport, fitness, leisure, cultural and arts programs offered by the City of Regina at their indoor and outdoor facilities around town. Learn more about the hundreds of leisure and recreation programs at City’s Leisure Guide.
